Our future Monet

Are these not the most beautiful drawings you've ever seen in your life? This is the first "artwork" that Tristyn has brought home from school (I can hear all you other moms groaning...I know, I know there is MUCH more to come and clutter up my house!)

But to me it is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Look...she even got a gold star...and colored (mostly) within the lines.

And check out the shading and color nuances on the turtle...I love her use of green and brown specks- what artistic talent and skill!

Today green and brown turtles....tomorrow a reproduction of Van Gogh's Sunflowers.
