What a week

This is our last "official" week to be residents of Gretchen Court. To do more than visit on weekends and pack boxes. One week left to actually live here, to garden, to lay on the floor, to run dishwashers, and take showers, and for Tristyn to crawl around.

It started to hit me today and I know that I will miss this house. It is just a house, i know, and we are excited about our new home...but there are still so many memories here!

This was taken before we moved in. Unfortunately, I have seen this played out only a few times since we have lived here ;)

Our "Happy Moving Day" sign put on our door by the youth at our church

We finally had a home for my piano!

Then we found out we would need this room.... :)

This was our house welcoming our beautiful baby home for the first time!

Tristyn arrives in Montz. Hard to believe that she was ever that little! (and pardon the elbow)
We decorated for Christmas and had The Supper Club (more on them later) come stay with us!
And this kid got to know and love our house. Crawling around corners and looking out the windows are her favorite.

This will always be the house and the place where Tristyn was born, where we evacuated from Gustav, where we learned to care about fertilizing grass, and how much utility bills cost, and saw ships on the Mississippi River from our front door. We have had the kind of neighbors here that you sit outside and talk for hours to.
We have been so fortunate for this house to be a part of our story and I only pray that the next occupants will have as rich and blessed a story as we have had here!
