Making up for lost time!

After, our quiet Christmas at home, we have more than been making up for lost time seeing as many family and friends as possible before we start back our routine in 2010! We were really starting to get worried about Tristyn since as of Christmas Day, she really didn't seem any better. We even took her up to Easthaven for a wagon ride AND bought her own ICEE to try to lift her spirits and encourage her to feel better. (in our defense, she had a fever of 102 and refused to drink anything so buying her the ICEE seemed mild compared to dehydration)

Miraculously, though she did turn a corner Christmas night and was fever free from from around 11pm on! Praise God! Though a little weak, she was MUCH better the next day and all revved up for Grammie and Papaw's visit!

Finally, she was able to enjoy opening some presents and got lots of fun things including some PBK monogrammed luggage - it is so stinkin' cute!

Here's Grammie helping "T" open gifts

Since she did have a good day on Saturday, we continued with our plan to leave Sunday for Ruston. We caught up with the notorious group- the Ruston girls :) at Linzie's parents house and enjoyed talking, eating, and watching the kiddos play. We have new theme every year, and this year was definitely BABIES since everyone either has a baby or is going to have a baby! yay!! :)

Here's Tristyn and sweet Hallie playing with this ball popper toy that is awesome.

T-bird and Papa (she tried her best to cheer on the Saints to no avail.)

T & Daddy take a 4-wheeler ride and see the sights in the country...(don't worry, they went like 2 mph and just rode around the yard)

And of course, Tristyn's new favorite treat- ICEES!
She is her daddy's girl.
