As most everyone else, we have been baking, last-minute shopping, doctor's appointments, baby showers, and all the other fun things that can happen this time of year.
We were almost all ready and packed up for our Christmas trips to Baton Rouge and Ruston when Tristyn woke up running fever this morning. Our sweet baby has been battling congestion and a cold for a couple days and guess it finally caught up with her. I have NEVER seen her this down and it really scared me. She was really lethargic and threw up a few times and literally laid around and slept almost all day (totally unlike her!) By tonight she has perked up but was pretty wiped from being sick all day and went right to sleep. We plan to wake her up at the appropriate hours to take her medicine and hopefully keep her fever down.
Anyway, all that to say please pray for our sweet t-bird and that she gets better! It is scary when the little ones are sick. We're not sure if we will continue our Christmas plans or not, we will just wake up in the morning and see how she feels.
Earlier in the week, we had the opportunity to take pictures with Santa (T's first Santa pics!)
A sweet man at our church is the Brookhaven Santa and took on the amazing task of helping to deliver presents to needy families. How awesome is that? And he let us take our pictures with him before he left. Isn't he the best Santa! And his beard is totally real!

What a sweet picture! Prayers headed your way...LGT woke up early from a nap yesterday with a crib full of vomit. I so feel your pain. Hope T feels better this morning and have a Merry Christmas!
