"Once upon a time"... there was a blank room at a church. It had been used as a Kindergarten classroom, and then was changed over to a student ministry room. Except it had nothing in it.
Then, somebody donated a few couches.
Then....a crazy, driven, visionary youth minister decided it could be something big.
This coffee house (as it has come to be called) has probably consumed most of Brian's waking moments this summer and probably his dreams too!!! But we are now ready for the big final reveal which will be this Sunday morning and they will finally get to have Entry Point there (which is our pre-sunday school hangout time.)

These paintings were done by a local Mississippi artist that visited our church last Easter- pretty cool!

A 106 inch screen with HD projector. This is a serious movie-watchin' spot. I'm afraid Brian might try to leave us and move in here.

The "coffee bar"
Brian along with some other men in our church built the counter and a really talented mom of one of our students did the staining/painting.
It has a coffee maker and mini fridge! Coolness!

It has really been a labor of love, and there have been so many people that have contributed their time and talents to make the room happen.

I am super proud of all the talent we have in our church, but I am most proud of my hubby who has spent many nights, weekends, and days off working on this project to make it a place that will hopefully be used for Sunday School, small group discipleship, and even more hang-out opportunities for our students in order to grow the ministry!!
Seriously...this has been a made for HGTV project! Too bad no one was filming.

Exalt- Embrace- Evangelize
EBC Student Ministry motto.
And we hope to use the coffee house to do just that!

It looks awesome!! I know Brian is extremely proud of how it turned out. The kids are going to love it.
What a wonderful job! So glad we got to see it in person last week. Brian, we are so proud of your efforts to make this an awesome place for the youth at Easthaven.
