Our Busy Bee

Tristyn has really been terribly busy lately. After all, she has to fulfill her New Year's Resolution to eat more as well as play with all those new toys she got for Christmas! We also had our friends Camille & Henry visit us and she had to show him how "big girls" play.

Here she is "getting down on his level" to discuss the merits of the purse versus the man-bag.


Then of course, there's new skill acquisition. She is eating her applesauce all by herself! (with parental supervision of course.)



Right after this picture she dumped the entire container of applesauce in her lap. Doesn't she look pleased? :)

Of course there's some reading to catch up on too. Five Little Lady Bugs is a dramatic novel with a surprising twist at the end!

(Ok, so I just have to brag and say that she picked out the book and climbed in the chair all by herself to read! As a future English teacher, I am just so proud!)

And...if daddy's slip-on dress shoes fit....
