Bob the Builder

I have to believe that Brian has been watching a few too many episodes of "Bob the Builder" with Tristyn lately, because he has been PROJECT INSPIRED! I am most definitely grateful because the end result is great for our house! I do feel bad that I can't help him much since I'm so busy at school.

Project numero uno: Tristyn's playground (ok swing set, but SHE calls it the playground) This is her BIG early 2 year old birthday gift! Complete with rock wall, swings, and slide!

This is looking from the back corner of our backyard (sorry these pics are small...they are iphone pics.) We actually got in an insane amount of sod this weekend that Brian took on the task of putting out himself. Meanwhile I am in Ruston with Tris visiting Honey and Papa and writing blogs. It's a tough life but someone's gotta do it! ;)

What a sweet happy girl! Every time we pull into the driveway and she sees her "playground" she gets this BIG smile on her face!

Project numero dos: The shed. This has definitely been a labor of love between Brian and my dad who built it all themselves from scratch. Wow.

It may not look very bit in this picture, but is a really nice size and will be great to store Brian's lawn mowers, four wheeler, etc as Tristyn's toys take over more and more space in our garage :)

The door still isn't painted (raise your hand if you think we should paint it to match the trim?!) and Brian is working this weekend to cover the dirt spots with sod. We will also put another flower bed on the right side of the shed...I'm thinking lorepetlum (the purple bushes) and maybe some hydrangeas since it will be shady??

I am so thankful to my amazing husband for ALL the super, super, hard work he has put in to make these things happen and make our yard look nice!!! Also to Honey and Papa for so much of their help on the "projects." We are so excited to use them both and to finally have our backyard complete!
