Maybe it's not so exciting to you, but we are pumped- yesterday we got TV & Sod!! So, we now no longer have a dirt yard and we also are partly on our way to being connected with the "real world" again.
And how much have we missed!!? The start of the Biggest Loser, the premiere of the new Jay Leno show, lots of news on Fox and CNN (though ironically enough, they are still talking about pretty much the same things as when we moved) and tons of sportscenter. We celebrated last night by, well...watching tv.
I would love to say that we used our time without tv wisely by reading lots and having meaningful family conversations, but honestly we have been so busy with moving stuff and church stuff and life stuff...that we really didn't. Unless of course reading "Elmo's SO big!" with Tristyn counts...?
There are still lots of things to be done concerning the house, but we are on our way! Hopefully we will get a lot done this weekend and be ready to move on to the next things. Truthfully, projects with a house never end...no matter how long you've lived there!
